Ford or Honda? Ask that question in the bar and you're likely to end up with a fight on your hands as the "buy American" crowd faces off with the Japanese car aficionados. But all we want is for you to identify which car maker is which given a picture of one of their vehicles!
Ford is probably the most identifiable car brand in the world today. After all, it was Henry Ford, with the Model T, who first brought the idea of owning a car within the reach of ordinary citizens. Prior to his invention of the assembly line process for making cars, autos had been pretty much only for the wealthy. In the century-plus since, Ford has had history-making successes (Mustang, anyone?) and legendary failures (Pinto go boom).
Honda is a LOT younger, especially to the car business. Most of us first heard of Honda via its motorcycles, with the Gold Wing being the apex of the touring bike life. Now, though, it's a formidable car maker, also producing one of the best minivans on the planet in the Odyssey and even a sport utility truck, the Ridgeline, that's become a favorite with the weekend warrior crowd.
